FP Client – Privacy Policy

1. Overview FP Client is an unofficial third‑party Android client for the FitPub service. This app does not operate its own backend and only connects to FitPub via its public API.

2. Data collected by the app FP Client itself does not collect, store, or share any personal data outside of your device. The app only uses the data provided by FitPub’s API to display your account information, activities, and related content.

3. Login and authentication To access your FitPub account, FP Client requires your FitPub credentials (username/email and password). These credentials are sent directly to FitPub’s servers for authentication and are not stored by FP Client.

After successful login, FP Client receives an access token from FitPub. This token is stored locally on your device in encrypted storage and is used only to keep you signed in and to make authorized API requests to FitPub.

4. Local storage The app stores only:

• encrypted access token for your FitPub session,
• minimal configuration data (such as app settings or preferences, if implemented).

No other personal data is stored by FP Client outside of what is required for normal operation.

5. Data sharing FP Client does not share any data with third parties. All communication happens only between the app and FitPub’s servers via HTTPS.

6. FitPub service Any data you see in FP Client (such as your profile, activities, or statistics) is provided by FitPub. For information about how FitPub processes and stores your data, please refer to FitPub’s own privacy policy.

7. Security FP Client uses encrypted storage for the access token and relies on HTTPS for all communication with FitPub’s API. However, as an unofficial client, FP Client cannot guarantee the security of FitPub’s servers or infrastructure.
